As we wrap up National Cancer Registrars Week, we want to take a moment to celebrate and thank each of you for the incredible contributions you make to cancer care every single day. 💜

You are truly ROCKSTARS! 🎸🎤🎶👩🏾‍🎤

You might hear someone ask, “What is a Cancer Registrar?” 🤔🧐
Cancer registrars are highly skilled data specialists who document the full journey of every cancer patient, from diagnosis through treatment and beyond. The information that’s collected plays a vital role in advancing research, supporting healthcare providers, guiding public health decisions, and improving prevention and screening efforts across the country.
Because of them, progress is possible. Because of them, lives are changed.

WE thank you for the passion, precision, and purpose you bring to this important work!

Here’s the truth: colorectal cancer is highly preventable when caught early…
But 52% of Americans don’t know that. https://colorectalcancer.org
We can change that. Share the facts. Screening saves lives.

February is National Cancer Prevention Month, a reminder that prevention and early detection save lives.

Cancer prevention includes steps you can take to lower your risk and detect cancer early, when it’s often easier to treat. Screening recommendations can feel overwhelming, but starting with the basics makes a difference:
- Know which routine screenings you’re eligible for based on your age and risk
- Talk with your doctor about the tests that are right for you
- Stay up to date and revisit your screening plan over time

Taking charge of your health starts with one conversation. Learn more at https://www.cancersupportcommunity.org/screening-prevention
