Dr. Abell with UofL Motility Clinic has informed me that Dr. Stocker has agreed to continue managing infusions for any of their patients who are now out of network. This is until the end of the year, giving their patients time to switch insurance.

We are getting multiple requests to take over infusions from UofL GI Motility patients after UofL stopped accepting their insurance. We do not give these infusions, as they appear to be part of a research study: https://clinicaltrials.gov/study/NCT04208828. I suggest that those needing infusions contact UofL GI Motility and ask for the study coordinator. If this does not work, then contact UofL's IRB (Institutional Review Board). As a reminder, Vanguard Surgical is dedicated exclusively to the medical and surgical management of gastroparesis patients. To clarify the latest rumor, we take all insurance except Humana and Ambetter of KY. For these patients, we offer reduced cash-pay fees. We also are partnered with CareCredit and Advanced Care Card.
