Happy Father’s Day!

This is a picture of my first tattoo, done by my dad (Charlie) back in 1996. I had been working at the studio for a few months at the time, and one day it just hit me of what I wanted to get.

My dad had this same tattoo that he got back in the mid 1970’s, I grew up always looking at it on the back of his arm. It fascinated me.

So, on a slow day in November, I asked my dad to do my first tattoo and told him what I wanted. It was a really special experience and I treasure the memory - and the tattoo, to this day.
