Monday Funday with Linda from Therapy
Our residents had a BIG time with Linda for this weeks Monday Funday.
We brought out the colorful parachute and turned it into a whole lot of fun. We worked together to move the parachute up and down, sent colorful balloons bouncing across it, and enjoyed plenty of laughs along the way.
It was so much fun watching everyone work together, cheer each other on, and enjoy some good old fashioned play time.

Creative cooking Wednesday.
Crockpot Chocolate lava Cake
We were in for a seriously delicious treat with this weeks creative cooking.
We made a chocolate lava cake right in the crockpot, and lets just say... the hallways smelled amazing all day long.
We started with a box of chocolate cake mix, prepared just as directed. We poured it into the crockpot and added dollops of fudge icing ansd mini chocolate chips throughout. Then we let the crockpot work its magin, cooking on high for about 2.5 hours.
And because everything is better with toppings, we finished each serving with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream and fresh strawberries.
Warm, gooey, chocolate cake + melted fudge + Chocolate chips+ Cold vanilla Ice cream + Fresh Strawberries.... YES PLEASE!!!
Our residents had a wonderful time making this together and the delicious smell that filled the halls was definently the best part of the day.
We love our cooking ideas. Also, licking the bowl!!

Tuesday creativity under the sea!!
We got a little under the sea on tueaday as we created the cutest jellyfish craft.
Using mini colanders, tullle, yarn, ribbon, colorful beads, and a little light, our residents transformed simpole materials into these adorable glowing jellyfish.
Each jellyfish was unique and full of personality, and they turned out so cute.
Wew love watching our residents use their creativity and imagination to turn everyday items into something special.

Wednesday Creative cooking: Mini Loaded Potato Bites
Last Wednesday, our residents turned simple potatoes into the most delicious little bites.
We sliced up our potatoes and popped them in the air fryer for about 7 mins on each side until they were perfectly tender and crispy. Then came the best part.... loading them up.
Our residents topped their potato bites with melted cheese, crispy bacon, sour cream and fresh chopped green onions.
They were crispy, cheesy, creamy, and packed with flavor. And, of course, the best part was enjoying something delicious that we made together.

A little yarn and a lot of creativity
Last Tuesday, our residents got creative with a simple paper plate and a heart cut out to make these adorable yarn heart crafts.
With colorful yarn and a little patience, our residents wrapped, looped, and created their own unique designs. It was wonderful watching everyone put their own personal touch into their projects while enjoying some good conversation and even better company.
Sometimes the simplest crafts make the sweetest memories.

Monday work outs or play time
Our residents love when Linda from Therapy comes for Monday fit.
They have a wonderful time getting active and enjoying playtime with Linda. We played with pool noodles, turning exercise into a fun and engaging activity.
Everyone enjoyed moving, stretching, and laughing together while using the pool noodles in creative ways. It was a great way to start the week with exercise, teamwork, conversation and plenty of smiles.
We are so thankful to Linda for bringing energy and fun to our Monday mornings.

Floating into creativity
Our residents had a messy wonderful time creating beautiful hot air balloons using balloons, toilet paper and mod podge.
Everyone enjoyed layering the materials and watching their balloons take shape. Once they finished and dried, we popped the balloon and added a light inside each one creating a warm and magical glow.
It was a fun activity that truly lifted the room.

Last week, our residents enjoyed making creamy chicken tortellini in the crockpot for lunch.
Everyone helped prepare the ingredients and shred the chicken as we watched this delicious recipe come together. the creamy sauce, tender chicken and the cheesy tortellini made for a warm and comforting lunch that everyone enjoyed.

Our residents made the prettiest little lanterns using mason jars, colorful sticker jewels and a light inside. Each resident got to design their lantern and make it completely their own. From sparkling jewels to unique patterns, everyones personality truly shined through.
Once the lights went insude, our mason jars transformed into beautiful glowing lanterns.
Such a fun and simple activity that brought plenty of creativity, conversation and smiles.
Sometimes the smallest light can brighten up the whole room.

A little no Bake Fun
Last week, our residents got to put their baking skills to the test with a NO bake cookie activity.
We made individual recipes so that each resident could make their very own 4 cookies. because everyone deserves a sweet treat made just for them!
Our residents had so much fun measuring, mixing, scooping, and of course, enjoying the delicious results. A little creativity, a little team work and a whole lot of sweetness made for a wonderul morning.
