This week our CEO Lisa Yarber- Cambron and CNO Morgan Aleen were in San Francisco to discuss Solutions Health alternative model of care. Morgan spoke on a panel to over 600 people about the care model Solutions Health uses and how it has re-engaged a population of people into healthcare that have otherwise felt stigmatized and judged. Lisa then expanded on this and spoke about how this trust building and engagement leads to people caring for themselves by engaging in HIV prevention services, STI screening and getting their Hepatitis C treated. While Lisa and Morgan are humbled to be given the stage to present our work, we our so proud of every member of our team, and of course, our patients. When given the opportunity for low-barrier healthcare, people do show up for themselves, time and time again. They just need to be given time, space and grace.
