Autism Friendly Business Service providers in Louisville Metro area working to build stronger integration of services & partnerships to offer best programs to children with autism.

The Autism Friendly Community working group came together for the common cause of building stronger integration of services and partnerships that create easier access to high quality comprehensive services for autistic children. The working group partners will work together to identify and protect funding sources that are currently utilized for needed programs and will identify possible additiona

l funding sources to support increased integration of Autism Awareness efforts and services. This group will develop and jointly utilize compelling data that will emphasize longer term costs for not investing in programs today. The partners will collaborate to determine gaps in services throughout the community and will be key in addressing the gaps through joint proposals and partnerships. The partners will strive to improve and refine existing programs by reviewing best practices to ensure that programs within and outside of the working group are providing high quality services for children with autism. I am a neurodivergent clinician and mom to a neurodivergent child myself and have dedicated all continuing education and advanced certifications on neuro-affirming care/ evidence-based practices.

My treatment is child-led and heavily involves families (including collaborative goal setting and resources for home use) as I emphasize carryover into the child's natural environment and peer interactions.

At Bodhi Salt, we are proud to be a Certified Autism Friendly Business, providing a welcoming and sensory-conscious environment for children of all abilities and their families.

Our Sensory Salt Room for Kids combines play with the natural benefits of dry salt therapy (halotherapy). The room features pharmaceutical-grade salt, engaging toys, and fully customizable lighting, allowing families to adjust the color and brightness to create the most comfortable sensory experience for their child.

During each session, children breathe microscopic dry salt particles that may help support respiratory wellness, promote clearer airways, and provide relief from seasonal allergies and other respiratory discomforts. The calming environment also encourages relaxation and sensory regulation for many children with autism, ADHD, and sensory processing differences.

Our trained staff understands that every child is unique and is committed to creating a flexible, judgment-free experience.
