(also, proud mama moment ID’ing that echinacea by nothing but foliage 😏)

SO RAD! We saw our first Hag Moth larvae or Monkey slug caterpillar last night.

Since moving here 4 years ago I can honestly say that I’ve seen so many species of caterpillars, moths, butterflies, and just general insect life than I have before—and I’ve lived a huge part of my life gardening, in nature and exploring the natural world. I love knowing that we can be apart of fostering that and living amongst it.

Have you ever seen one of these crazy looking caterpillars?

evening chores last night included several complimentary outdoor showers 🌧️

they certainly won’t be able to say they weren’t allowed to play outside in the rain 😂
