Proud to be sponsoring some snacks for this inspired, fun and special needs friendly event. If you have family in the Lakewood area, and they have kiddos with special needs, You've gotta register for this event! Splash pads, a water slide (it's adult friendly! You know I'll be on it.), community resources, an opportunity for a tour of a real police car and meeting community police. I had SO much fun last year, so of course I'll be there again!

CANOE, Community Aquatics n' Community Engagement's 2nd Annual Splash & Play with Lakewood Police Department is coming up and Fitness to Drive is a proud sponsor this year! Join us at this FREE but private event for those with disabilities and their families/siblings/nurses/etc (all ages).

Splash & Play is even bigger this year featuring 2 water slides, 2 slip-n-slides with splash pool, and accessible splash pad. There will also be food trucks, resource booths, a free raffle, and water refill stations so don't forget to bring your refillable water bottle. You may also bring preferred snacks if food truck food is NOT a preferred option for your family. We will also have special appearances from the Lakewood Police Department & West Metro Fire Department.

Most importantly, wear swimsuits or clothes that you are okay with getting wet in and definitely don't forget sun protection! It's going to be a blast and we hope to see you there!

When I say that OT can help with *all* the things that a person wants or needs to do, this is exactly what I mean!! Beautiful use of OT for stroke recovery.

Stepping a little out of my comfort zone and gathering with other female veterans for support and storytelling.

It’s easy to feel like we don’t deserve support, for so many reasons. But I want you to know that regardless of your past or circumstances, you are deserving of care.
