We just returned from a week of advanced education, elevated experiences, and personal and professional growth alongside some of the most respected aesthetic providers in the country.
What many people don’t realize is that in aesthetics, a licensed medical professional can take a brief course and begin injecting. While legal, that reality highlights a larger issue within our industry: the gap between minimum requirements and true mastery.
Aesthetic medicine is exactly that—medicine.
It requires an in-depth understanding of anatomy, physiology, patient safety, product science, and artistry. It demands continual learning, humility, and a commitment to refining your craft long after the certifications are earned.
The providers who are raising the standard are the ones who never stop studying. They invest their time, energy, and resources into advanced training, anatomy labs, mentorship, and ongoing education—not because they have to, but because their patients deserve it.
Success in this industry doesn’t come from shortcuts. It comes from grit. Obsession. Discipline. Repetition. A willingness to be a lifelong student.
