Have you ever found yourself in an argument, frustrated with your spouse, your kids, or even yourself, convinced that you're right and they’re wrong?
In this episode, we explore a powerful question inspired by the teachings of A Course in Miracles:
Do you want to be right, or do you want to be happy?
I share what I've been learning through my recent study of A Course in Miracles, a spiritual self-study program focused on moving from fear to love, blame to responsibility, and conflict to peace.
Together, we'll explore:
• Why our need to be right often creates unnecessary suffering• How our thoughts—not other people—create our emotional experience• The difference between judgment and understanding• Why letting go of control can create more peace in your relationships• Real-life examples from parenting and everyday mom life
If you've ever felt stuck in conflict, frustrated by someone else's behavior, or exhausted from trying to control things you can't control, this episode will offer a new perspective and a practical question you can carry with you into your everyday life.
Because sometimes the path to more peace isn't proving your point—it's letting go of the need to.
Enjoy the episode, and if it resonates with you, I'd be so grateful if you'd take a moment to rate and review the podcast. Your support helps more moms find the show and join us on this journey toward calmer, more intentional living.

In this episode of The Mom-entum Podcast, we’re talking about the difference between blame and responsibility — and how learning to take ownership of our thoughts, reactions, and perceptions can completely change the way we experience our lives.
Inspired by the teachings of A Course in Miracles, I share how we often give away our power by believing other people are responsible for our emotions, and how shifting out of a victim mindset can create more peace, clarity, emotional regulation, and personal freedom.
Inside this episode, we talk about:✨ why other people don’t actually “make” us feel anything✨ the difference between blame and true responsibility✨ how defensiveness keeps us stuck in conflict✨ changing your perception in difficult moments✨ parenting triggers, emotional reactions, and self-awareness✨ practical examples from everyday mom life

This episode is not about blaming yourself for everything that happens in life. It’s about recognizing where your power actually is.
Because responsibility doesn’t create shame —it creates freedom and it creates peace.
If you’ve been feeling emotionally reactive, stuck in frustration, or overwhelmed by other people’s behavior, this conversation will help you start seeing things differently in a way that feels empowering instead of heavy.

What if the life you experience is being shaped by the thoughts you repeatedly think?

This episode hit me DEEP because I think so many of us spend our days focusing on:
❌ what’s going wrong
❌ what we haven’t done
❌ what’s missing
❌ why we feel stuck

And then we wonder why we feel exhausted, overwhelmed, and disconnected from joy.

But what if nothing has gone wrong here?

What if the way you SEE your life is shaping the way you EXPERIENCE your life?

Because when your thoughts improve… you feel better.
And when you feel better, you show up differently.
You notice different things.
You attract different experiences.

As Wayne Dyer said:
“When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.”

You are not powerless.
You are the creator of your experience.

And that’s the BEST news imaginable… because it means you have the power to decide:
✨ how you want to feel
✨ what you want to focus on
✨ and what kind of life you want to create

Your circumstances do not have to change first for you to choose better thoughts.
But when you do?
It’s amazing how your life starts changing too.

In this episode, I’m sharing a mindset shift from the book Ask and It Is Given that has completely changed the way I see my life, my thoughts, and the experiences I create.

As moms, it’s so easy to get stuck focusing on what’s going wrong, what’s stressful, or what isn’t working. But what if the way we’re viewing our lives is actually shaping our experience more than we realize?

We’re talking about:

how your thoughts shape your feelings, actions, and results
the beliefs quietly running your life
why so many moms feel stuck, overwhelmed, and burned out
how to stop living on autopilot
the power of perspective and intentional focus
and how to start creating more peace, joy, and alignment in your everyday life

This episode is an invitation to pause, reflect, and start asking:
“What am I focusing on… and what is that creating in my life?”

If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, discouraged, or like life is just happening to you, this conversation will encourage you to see things through a different lens.
