Many of our youngest patients will be leaving the health center a little cozier and more colorful -thanks to some special knitters. For many years, a dedicated group of community crafters have provided hundreds of hand-knit hats in all sizes, from newborn to youth and even some for the grown ups. This seemingly small gesture – handing a hat to a family during a visit - always brings big smiles, making sure little heads feel warm and cared for as colder temperatures approach. Thank you!

A wonderful night celebrating Lowell CHC’s own Mercy Anampiu!

Tonight, Mercy was honored with the 2026 Steven Joncas Community Connector Award at the Greater Lowell Community Foundation's annual Celebrate Giving event.

For two decades, Mercy has worked to build bridges between Lowell CHC and the communities we serve. Her leadership has helped make our health center and community stronger, more connected, and more welcoming.

We are incredibly proud of Mercy and grateful for all she does!

Congratulations as well to fellow honorees Richard Howe and Rockland Trust, and to B.F. Butler Middle School, recipient of the Newell Flather Legacy Fund Grant Award. The evening also featured a keynote conversation with Turahn Dorsey, President and CEO of the Eastern Bank Foundation.

Thank you to the Greater Lowell Community Foundation for bringing our community together to celebrate the people and organizations making a difference across Greater Lowell.
