In a season full of uncertainty for many of our friends and neighbors, Lubbock Impact is continuing to stand steady for those in need. For 18 years, our Lubbock community has kept this mission going strong; no state funding, no federal dollars, just the people of Lubbock caring for one another. ❤️

If you’re facing food insecurity, please come. We’re still here to help:

• Free, hot Community Meal every Tuesday at 6pm

• Emergency Food & Hygiene Pantry: available to shop once, every 30 days per household; must bring a valid ID
• Mondays: 5–6:30pm
• Thursdays: 9:30–11:30am

• Vouchers to the South Plains Food Bank for a food box
• Mondays: 5:00p–6:30pm
• Thursdays: 9:30a–11:30am

• Connections to other community partners who can help provide aide 💗

As many of you may know, Mikey and I are originally from San Antonio. 14 years ago we took a leap of faith and moved to Lubbock to better our lives and move up in our careers. We’ve truly had some of our best times here. We’ve made friends that became family. We’ve learned so much and have accomplished even more while being here. Coming to Lubbock all those years ago helped us learn who we are and what we’re truly capable of. All of that being said, it’s with heavy, but full and very happy hearts that Mikey and I make this important announcement to yall…

We’ve made the decision to close Mala Suerte at the end of this month on November 30th, and we’ll be going back to San Antonio in the next few months. We both feel like it’s what’s best for our family at this time and are so excited for the opportunities this move will bring all of us.

Beginning December 1st, Mikey will be working out of The Brand Tattoo Studio for a couple of months until we leave. He will definitely be taking care of all of y’all who have already paid for specials or anyone who needs to get in before we leave, so please don’t be alarmed. Reach out to him as soon as possible to get scheduled.

We want to express our deepest appreciation for all of the support we’ve been given over the past 14 years. Y’all have shown up for us for every single thing we’ve ever done and we couldn’t be more grateful. We love y’all so much and will miss you even more!!
