Today is World Schizophrenia Day 💚

Schizophrenia is often misunderstood, but people living with schizophrenia are so much more than a diagnosis. They are sons, daughters, parents, friends, coworkers, neighbors, etc..

Mental illness does not define a person’s worth, potential, or ability to live a meaningful life. A little kindness, patience, and support can change someone’s entire world.

Let’s choose understanding over judgment and conversations over silence. 💚

Sometimes a staff comes along that blows 🤯 your mind. Not only does she cover 3 full time shifts, she does it with a great attitude and makes each resident feel like the are important. ❤️ Thank you MelissaRose for all your hard work. It doesn’t go unnoticed.
