A Spiritual Care Coordinator provides emotional and spiritual support to hospice patients and their families: meeting each person exactly where they are.

They listen, offer comfort, help families find peace and meaning, and support each person’s individual beliefs and values. Spiritual care is not about a particular religion—it’s about caring for the whole person: mind, body, and spirit.

At Grayce, spiritual care is another important part of helping our patients and families feel supported throughout their hospice journey. 💙💚

We took a little time this week to celebrate our incredible Grayce team at the South Plains Fair!

It’s become one of our favorite annual traditions, and we love getting together outside of work to enjoy some laughs, good food, and great company!

We are so thankful for this amazing group of people who put their hearts into caring for others every single day.

Before you say “I’m fine,” take a moment to check in with yourself 👇🏼

How are you really doing?

Caregivers are often so focused on making sure their loved one is okay that they forget to ask the same of themselves.

You deserve support before you reach the point of exhaustion. You deserve someone to answer your questions, help you navigate difficult moments, and remind you that you don’t have to carry this alone.

Caring for someone you love can come with a lot of uncertainty. As a caregiver, you may find yourself wondering, “Is this normal?” “Should I be concerned?” or “Do I need to call someone?” 🤔

You don’t have to have all the answers. That’s one of the reasons your hospice team is there. 👏

Your nurse can help with changing symptoms and medications. Your CNA can assist with personal care. Your social worker can help with emotional and practical needs. Your chaplain can provide spiritual support. 🤍

When you’re unsure, reach out. Your loved one has a hospice team. And so do you. 💚
