Happy Wednesday, witches 🧙🎀 The tradition of lighting candles during Halloween traces back to the festival of Samhain.🕯️ This marked the transition from the harvest season to winter, a period when the boundary between the living and spirit worlds was at its most fragile.🌙 Candles & bonfires were intended to guide lost spirits back to their resting place, protect from darkness & evil, and create a bridge to the spiritual realm.🔥

We’re open 11-6 all week💫 Come explore our candle collection!🕯️

Also called “the veil between worlds”, the veil refers to the etheric curtain that separates our physical world from the spirit world. 🌫️ It is believed that at certain points of the year, particularly late October and early November, the division between the physical world and the spiritual realm weakens.✨ This allows spirits, ancestors, and other supernatural energies to come closer, offering an opportunity for reflection, communication, and connection. This idea is central to celebrations like Samhain, Day of the Dead, and Halloween.👻🎃

Here are some ways you may be feeling it:

🌙 1. Vivid dreams
Dreams are one way we receive messages and guidance from the spirit world. If you have had particularly vivid and/or symbolic dreams lately, you could be sensitive to this shift.

💥 2. Feeling a “prickly” or “static” sensation in the air
It could feel like a whisper in the wind, or like somebody walking behind you and you turn to find no one. It’s hard to put your finger on it… but there’s a heightened energy in the air.

🥲 3. Feeling deeply intense emotions
Everything is close to the surface right now. You may find yourself getting feelings hurt easier, and certain things bothering you that normally wouldn’t. Give your empathic heart some grace. You’re not alone.

Spending time grounding, meditating, and tuning into your intuition are all ways to help ease this shift on your spirit.💜 We’ve got you covered with all the supplies.😉

Open 11-6 this weekend!👋 See you soon
