50 lbs down postpartum now. ✨
I’m going to be REAL for a second— I gained 60 lbs during pregnancy, and honestly… it was HARD mentally after working so hard to lose over 100 lbs before becoming pregnant.
Before pregnancy, my PCOS finally felt manageable. I felt healthy, confident, and comfortable in my body again. Then pregnancy changed everything.
As grateful as I was to grow my baby, postpartum hit me hard. Watching your body change after putting in all that work is something people don’t talk about enough.
So yes — I used a GLP-1, and I’m not ashamed of it. PCOS is not a level playing field. Between the hormones, insulin resistance, cravings, and food noise… my body needed help.
This was never about being “skinny.” This was about being healthy, getting my body back under control, and feeling like ME again.
And before anyone says it was the “easy way out” — trust me, it wasn’t magic. I still had to heal. I still had to make better choices. I still had to show up for myself every single day.
Now I’m only 10 lbs away from my pre-pregnancy weight… and I already fit back into my pre-pregnancy clothes. 🥹🤍
This journey hasn’t been easy, but I’m proud of myself for not giving up on me. ✨
