Join us at Cotton House Collective for The Double Header: Sourdough Workshop + In a Jam: Canning Made Easy!

Why choose just one class when you can spend a full day learning two wonderful, practical skills? This hands-on experience combines the art of sourdough baking with the basics of canning and preserving—perfect for beginners or anyone wanting to build their kitchen skills.

You’ll learn alongside others, get helpful tips and guidance, and leave with new skills you can put to work at home. Bring your notebook and pen, and for the sourdough portion, a bread whisk or wooden spoon, plus a glass or ceramic bowl and towel/bowl cover. An apron, knife, snack, and drink are also handy!

Duties would include: Buidling furniture, stocking shelves, cleaning, decorating, and anything thing else to keep our small business running as we enter the holidays.

I feel so accomplished and I’m not done yet! A quarter of a ton is a drop in the bucket of a 9 month supply (to get us to a crop next summer), but it is a drop in our bucket that we are so thankful to have!

Healthy, happy and fueled for months to come thanks to pressure canning, freezing, drying, dehydrating, and freeze drying and thanks to the hard work of Georgia, Ethan, Clara Kitten on their farm.
