Life Transitions ❤️💜

May has been a milestone month for our family. We celebrated Abby’s graduation from MACCRAY High School and Allison’s graduation from the College of Saint Benedict.

We are incredibly proud of the hard work, and grit both of our girls have shown to reach these important milestones.

Parenting is a journey and each parent does the best they can with what they know at the time. Sometimes the path is smooth sailing, and sometimes it’s messy, but every step helps shape the people our children become.

Abby and Allison, we pray for God’s blessings as you begin these next chapters. May you be open to the opportunities, lessons, and adventures that come your way. Stay true to your values, and never forget how deeply you are loved.

It has been an eventful two weeks!

I was blessed to travel to Austin, Texas for the Aging Life Care Association conference-surrounded by passionate care managers all dedicated to serving our Aging community with heart and purpose.💜

And just as grateful for the moments that matter most... and long weekend in Duluth with my daughter, getting time together. 💜

Work that fills my cup and family that grounds me- feeling incredibly thankful.

🎵💜 Highlights from our trip to Austin!

Aging Life Care Managers Conference inspired us with an unspoken powerful theme: the impact of music in Parkinson’s care. 🎶

Music can unlock movement, lift mood, and reconnect people to meaningful memories—bringing moments of joy and connection.

We also deepened our understanding of Parkinson’s—its causes, treatments, and the emotional journey behind the diagnosis.

Grateful to bring these insights into the work we do every day and growing our skills as nurse care managers for our rural community!

Early morning travel day for the 42nd ALCA conference - we are first timers! Hit a rainy season and walked to a BBQ joint yum 😋
