Switching to a diet centered around plants can yield significant health advantages, providing optimal fuel, increasing blood flow, making immune function more efficient, lowering inflammation and improving hormonal balance. These benefits can be experienced by anyone who wants to feel and perform better in any aspect of their lives.
Experiencing all these benefits can not be had without increasing your intake of real whole foods - diet culture calls them 'carbs' and most women (including myself for a long time) have been taught to fear them!
It's ludicrous when you think about it - this stuff is medicine!!!
Try to limit the amount of processed and refined sugary/fat food combos that you eat and instead include healthier sources of carbohydrate in your diet, such as whole-grains, tubers, vegetables, fruits, berries and legumes. The healthiest and longest living populations on the planet all have one thing in common - a DIET HIGH IN CARBOHYDRATES🌱
