The Holistic Times
Special Edition

Holistic Healing isn't "out there" anymore.
It's becoming part of how people care for themselves.

More people are choosing presence over pressure.
Nervous system care over pushing through.
Meditation over mental noise.
Sound over silence that feels heavy.
Energy work over carrying everything alone.

This isn’t fringe anymore.

Mayo Clinic now includes integrative medicine services such as meditation, stress management, massage therapy, acupuncture, aromatherapy, lifestyle medicine, herbs and supplements, and music therapy. Cleveland Clinic discusses Reiki through its integrative medicine work and also offers holistic pain management and music therapy resources.

And the numbers are moving, too.

NIH/NCCIH data show U.S. adult use of meditation rose from 7.5% in 2002 to 17.3% in 2022, yoga rose from 5.0% to 15.8%, and massage therapy rose from 4.8% to 10.9%.

The World Health Organization’s 2025–2034 strategy also recognizes the growing role of traditional, complementary, and integrative medicine worldwide, with an emphasis on evidence, safety, regulation, and appropriate integration into health systems.

So maybe what we are seeing isn’t a trend.

Maybe it’s a correction.

A return to something humans have always known:

We are whole people.
Body. Mind. Spirit. Energy.
And all of it needs care.

Summer has arrived in Ludington ☀️

And while it’s beautiful, it also moves fast. We try to squeeze in the beach days, visitors, events, errands, work, family, sunshine, and everything else that comes with our shortest season.

Advance registration is recommended for classes at Four Directions Alchemy. If no tickets are sold in advance, I will not be onsite for that session.

I’m an alchemist.

A spiritual practitioner, writer, ordained minister, and creatrix of ceremony.

My work weaves together oracle readings, energy healing, sound healing, crystal energy, shamanic practices, spiritual coaching, hypnosis, and folk magick into a form I call Multidimensional Healing.

This is the work of tending the many layers of a person — body, mind, energy, spirit, story, ancestry, intuition, pattern, possibility.

I’m also the writer behind Live Vibrant with Sarah on Substack, where I explore the places where the mystical, practical, personal, and spiritual all meet. Because eventually, I stopped trying to separate the mystical from the practical. The real work was never about having experiences. It was about integrating them.

I create sacred ceremonies. I guide people through inner transformation. I teach the mystical arts. I hold space for the kind of healing that reaches beyond one layer of who we are.

So yes — metaphysician, reader, writer, spiritual practitioner, folk magick woman, ceremony creatrix, teacher, ordained minister, and alchemist.
