He can talk because the Deputy shot him seconds after he woke up. Jacoby needed help not a bullet.
I think, will he Jacoby Williams, receive justice?
Will he be given the due process?
Will he be made whole?
It's almost a year, I've been told by his Attorney Atondra Lawson, whom visited my office on Wednesday, January 11, 2023.
The information shared concerning this matter has been weighing heavily on my mind.
Attorney Lawson, asked me to be an activist for Mr. Williams, as the St. John Sheriff is sticking by his office.
My wisdom in defense I've learned that, you can not shoot in the face first, you must try and disarm a person, a headshot must be used only if the person is still attempting to harm me after two attempts, then the 3rd shot is approved for the head. Never the first shot.
If you read this article you'll see the deputy took a head shot on the first and only shot taken.
Why is the case lingering, what going on? Who's dropping the ball? Is it Sheriff, the Attorney, the DA, The State Police, who, and why?
This case is something that needs your eyes, your compassion to question everyone's accountability to effectively operate for Jacoby Williams, eyes and your voices so that we the people will be able to been given the due process to justice, the pursuit of Happiness, liberty to live, and effectively communicate ❤️ 💙
The deputy, if in error as a result of fear and lack of training must become accountable, stand up for justice, admit his truth, whatever that is.
Jacoby Williams can't speak as a direct result of the deputy's action. We! You and I have to speak for the speechless.
I don't know what all happened that day, but the deputies do, the victims do, and so should we be given true information so together we can prevent such behavior from taking place again, and that Jacoby Williams will be made whole.
Two days after he was shot in the face by a St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff's Office deputy, a Gramercy man remained hospitalized Tuesday in critical condition, according to
