Sometimes the most powerful proof of healing shows up in the places people least expect. 💙
Recently, Donna Eden, David Feinstein, and Dondi Dahlin had the privilege of visiting the HARP Program at Chesterfield County Jail in Virginia.
HARP RVA, Inc has become known for something remarkable.
By incorporating tapping and energy-based healing tools into its work, the program has helped reduce recidivism from the national average of roughly 70% to just 23%. 🌿
The invitation came from HARP Director Kerri Rhodes, whose own journey through devastating loss led her to create a program built on healing, recovery, dignity, and hope.
What Donna, David, and Dondi experienced that day left a lasting impression.
Behind the prison walls were men and women supporting one another with honesty, vulnerability, compassion, and courage.
There were tears.
There was laughter.
There was healing.
And there was a deep hunger for tools that help people regulate stress, reconnect with themselves, and move forward. ✨
Together, they shared simple Energy Medicine techniques that participants immediately connected with.
One participant called them "weird life-changing tools."
Another admitted he thought it was "woo-woo" before finding himself doing the exercises. 😊
Perhaps most moving of all?
The HARP community has now incorporated Donna's Daily Energy Routine into both their morning and evening groups. 💛
Stories like this remind us why this work matters.
Energy Medicine isn't about perfection.
It's about helping people access their own resilience, humanity, and capacity to heal.
Sometimes in the most unexpected places.
And sometimes with people the world has already given up on.
We're deeply grateful to Kerri Rhodes, the HARP team, and every participant who welcomed this work with open hearts.
💬 Have you ever experienced a simple tool that changed the way you handled stress, healing, or recovery? We'd love to hear your story.
