My mom is the reason I stayed natural.....⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

When I first decided to return to my natural hair in 2012, my mom supported my plan, even though I didn’t have one 🥴⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I know she spent thousands of dollars on me trying hair products. Many of which SUCKED😩 I hadn’t figured out my hair type, my hair needs, or even a hair goal. But my mom was right there in a sea of blindness ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
So many times I wanted to go back to the creamy crack because I felt like my hair wasn’t growing and me and my natural hair just weren’t meshing. My mom talked me out of it every time 🙌🏾⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
