💛 Thank You, Navicent Health Foundation! 💛

Joshua’s Wish is incredibly grateful to the Navicent Health Foundation for awarding us a generous $10,000 H.E.A.T. Grant through Healthcare Employees Achieving Tomorrow (H.E.A.T.), the employee giving program.

Although we were unable to attend the check presentation, we did not want to miss the opportunity to express our sincere appreciation for this incredible support.

This $10,000 grant will help Joshua’s Wish continue providing hope and comfort to children battling cancer and their families through holiday assistance, snacks and drinks for pediatric oncology families, and other family support.

To the Navicent Health Foundation and the generous employees who give through H.E.A.T. — THANK YOU! 💛 Your support helps us continue Joshua’s legacy and reminds families facing childhood cancer that they are not alone.

17 Years Later, We’re Still Walking for Joshua 💛

Friday marks 17 years since Joshua left us.

Seventeen years sounds like such a long time, but a mother’s heart doesn’t measure time that way. I can still see his smile, hear his laugh, and remember the joy he brought into our lives.

Joshua was only 5½ years old when DIPG took him from us. We couldn’t change the outcome for Joshua, but we made a promise that his story would not end there.

Joshua’s Wish was born from that promise.

And 17 years later, we are still fighting. Still raising awareness. Still supporting families. Still funding research. And still believing that one day, another family will hear the words we desperately wanted to hear: There is a cure.

That is why our 17th Annual Joshua’s Wish Gold Ribbon 5K & Honor Walk means so much this year.

On September 19, every step will carry a little piece of Joshua’s legacy — and the hope we have for every child still fighting childhood cancer.

💛 Run the 5K.
💛 Walk the mile.
💛 Form a team.
💛 Walk in honor or in memory of someone you love.

17 years without Joshua.
