As summer winds down, Labor Day reminds us to pause, celebrate hard work and enjoy time with the people who matter most. Our offices are closed today as we honor the holiday.

Following the recent retirement of our dentist, we are currently working to find a new dentist to continue care at our IDD clinic.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience or disruption this transition may cause. We recognize that changes in dental care can be especially difficult for individuals who benefit from consistency and familiar routines, and we are doing everything we can to navigate this transition thoughtfully and as quickly as possible.

Our team is actively working on next steps and reviewing upcoming appointments. We will reach out to patients and families as soon as we have more information and are able to determine the best path forward for scheduling.

We greatly appreciate your patience, understanding, and support during this transition. Thank you for trusting us to care for you and your loved ones.

Today, we’re introducing Hannah Helton, speech-language pathologist at the Mercer Center for IDD Care!​

Speech-language pathologists (SLPs) do much more than help with speech. They also evaluate and treat swallowing difficulties and support communication skills that help adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities communicate more effectively and enjoy a better quality of life.​
