Some things we've noticed? People get VERY creative when allergies won’t leave them alone.

Thankfully, you don’t have to keep guessing, waiting it out, or adding another air purifier to your home. Allergy testing and a personalized treatment plan can help you understand your triggers and find a better way to manage them.

We’ll handle the detective work. 🕵️‍♀️

What’s really going on with your sinuses? A Sinus CT can help us take a closer look. 👀

This quick, painless scan provides detailed images of the sinuses, helping our team identify inflammation, infection, obstructions, fluid buildup, or structural abnormalities that could be contributing to ongoing symptoms. It can be especially helpful for patients dealing with chronic or recurring sinusitis.

Even better? We have scanning equipment at all four of our offices, so you don't have to visit a hospital or imaging center. The scan takes just a few minutes and can provide images the same day to help guide your care. 💙

Meet Bri, our newest medical assistant! 👋

A Macon local, Bri has already been such a great addition to our team. As an MA, she helps with patient intake, keeps important patient information organized, and makes sure our providers have what they need to keep each appointment running smoothly.

We’re so glad to have her with us! 😊

Dust mites, mold spores, and ragweed pollen show up in more places than you'd expect.

From old paperbacks to reusable water bottles, knowing their hiding spots can help you avoid exposure.

Ragweed pollen is a great example. While it’s not something you eat, ragweed pollen contains proteins that are similar to proteins found in certain fruits and vegetables. If you’re allergic to ragweed, your immune system may mistake these similar proteins for ragweed and trigger oral allergy syndrome, causing mild symptoms like tingling in the mouth, lips, or tongue after eating foods like bananas, melons, or cucumbers.

Curious where else your allergens might be hiding? We are always here to help!

Anaphylaxis can be scary, but knowing the signs and having a plan in place makes all the difference.

• Anaphylaxis happens when the immune system overreacts to a trigger, releasing chemicals that cause a severe and sometimes life-threatening reaction.

• Higher risk factors include asthma, allergies, or a family history of anaphylactic shock.

• Immediate treatment with an epinephrine injector (like an EpiPen®), followed by emergency care, is critical.

Our team works with patients to pinpoint triggers, create a personalized treatment plan, and practice proper epinephrine use so they feel prepared for emergency situations.
