A common concern I see in the medspa is perioral lines (aka smoker's lines, lipstick lines) around the mouth area. These deeper, etched lines form over time due to repetitive movement, collagen loss, and UV damage. Most cases I see are not caused by smoking. There is also a strong genetic component to these lines as well.

The best way to improve this area is through a combination of multiple modalities. Ideally I recommend medical-grade skincare that includes a retinol and consistent SPF use, skin resurfacing treatments like Tixel2, and lastly dermal filler treatments are icing on the cake.

RHA Redensity was the product of choice and placed in the lip body and borders, and then in the perioral lines pictured to help soften and smooth the skin around the mouth. Redensity is preferred in this area due to its lightweight and flexible formula delivering a soft and natural result always 🤎🤎🤎
