I've come a long way, baby!
15 years ago this month someone shared a sample of an essential oil with me and it not only worked, it worked so well that I called her to ask her what I could buy for all my other health concerns.
I couldn't afford to buy anything because things were super tight in our budget due to all my healthcare expenses. So I worked a side job to earn the money to buy a box of oils and a book to teach me how to use them.
Every time my body needed support I opened my book and found a solution in that box. And everu single time, it blew my mind how well it worked! Good news, right?
Except I still couldn't afford to keep buying what I needed.
So the lady who sold me the oils asked if I wanted to host a class to earn money to pay for my oils. I had several friends who had been watching my crazy health transformation and were definitely curious. 8 of them showed up. All we did was pass around the oils in my box and read about them in the book. The lady teaching the class didn't even try to sell anything at the end. Within 24 hours everyone had bought a box of oils. And one friend brought me another friend who also wanted to purchase.
I got a check for over $500 within a week.
My husband opened the check and tracked down the oil lady to ask her how I earned it.
Next thing you know, he had convinced me this was my calling: to share my story and teach people about these natural solutions that actually worked.
A year later we had paid off all our enormous medical debt, we were earning 5 figures per month, and we were expecting our son after 15 years of infertility and pregnancy loss. And I retired my hubs at age 37 from his blue collar career in the landscaping industry.
Today we have a growing business, we own a 75 acre farm in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia, both parents get to stay home with our incredibly healthy 12 year old, and I am a health practitioner that helps people find natural solutions for their health and an entrepreneur that mentors women who want more financial and time freedom.
All because someone had the courage and compassion to offer a solution that a very sick girl had been praying for years to find.
