From the ER to the forefront of Functional Medicine and integrative care, we’re excited to welcome Dr. Lela Iduna to the stage at this year’s 17th Annual Hyperbaric Therapy & Functional Medicine Conference.
After treating more than 120,000 patients across a 25+ year career in Emergency Medicine, Dr. Lela shifted her focus toward root-cause healing, becoming one of the earliest physicians certified through the Institute for Functional Medicine. Today, she works with patients ranging from children with autism to adults navigating cancer and Alzheimer’s disease, while also educating hundreds of providers across the country.
Her experience spans emergency medicine, surgery, functional medicine, education, research, and clinical leadership at institutions including Yale School of Medicine, Tufts, and Michigan State.
This is the kind of perspective that changes how we think about healing, patient care, and what’s possible in medicine.
