WEDDING FILM PT. 2

Fun things I’m glad we did at our wedding:
- Left disposable cameras at each dining table for guests POV
- Found local, seasonal catering option () that blew guests out of the water
- “Built” out our own custom venue on family land (lol this was way more work than you’d imagine—💯 worth it)
- Gave guests the option of glamping in yurts by
- Used apples and pears from the land as well as gourds from a local farmer for our maindecorafterflorals
- Curated outdoor living areas for guests to get comfy and mingle (the key here was to not spread things out too far though so the event still felt connected)
- Traded a digital photo booth for a Polaroid print, tape, and sign in a book situation
- Champagne toast welcome
- so much more!

As a true gemini and lover of dualities (to keep life interesting), my two wedding looks couldn’t be more different.

The first, a classic, elegant, and a-line chiffon gown and the second (pictured here) a dynamic, textural, ruffled high-low dress.

The second look was harder to find, and I’m not kidding, I probably searched every inch of the bridal interwebs to find it. via .com 💃🏽

WEDDING ON FILM 🎞️

My heart is exploding with joy - Joseph and I really have the best people in our lives. 🥲💓Thank you to those who showed up for our wedding. And thank you to our wedding party SQUAD!!!

Besides wedding days being a hugely emotional day, it also was the culmination of our hard work at designing our own venue and building it from scratch. We’ve never worked so hard in our life, on top of both running businesses. Felt so good to watch it all come to life with so much happy energy!

Many of you have told us it was the best/most fun wedding you’d ever been to. Maybe you’re being nice, but that was the goal.

To create something SO unique on land so sacred to us. Everything had our Heidi+Joseph touch. 🌿 Family + community are two of our strongest values and it was so wonderful to have this time together.

Could not have been a better place to celebrate our marriage!

Round two anniversary party next year? Same time, same place?! 🎉 I’m so serious. DM me now to hold a spot 😂

Until then, I’ll be riding the high. Life is all about the ups and the downs, so take it all in. 😘
