Our family member came to Archway during the middle of a very serious crisis, and as a family, it was honestly terrifying sending them somewhere unfamiliar during such a vulnerable time. From the very first phone call, though, our family member immediately felt comfortable with the Program Director, and that feeling only continued while staying there.
What stood out to us most is that Thomas is truly involved and caring for the men there. He lives in the same complex as the men, stays engaged in their day-to-day lives and activities, and has built a community where the residents clearly trust and respect him. He focuses on what is truly important for recovery and avoids creating unnecessary rules or barriers that make an already difficult process even harder.
The living environment itself is outstanding, but what made the biggest impact on our family was the level of care Thomas showed. He went above and beyond for both our loved one and communication with me. . In a very short amount of time, he built trust and respect with our family member to the point that, after completing a higher level of care that became necessary, they plan to return to The Archway to continue their sober living journey.
Thomas has a unique ability to meet people where they are, build trust, and genuinely show compassion. He helped ease a stressful situation for us. When our loved one needed a different level of care for a period of time, Thomas was incredibly patient, compassionate, and proactive in helping us find the right place for them to go.
We are deeply grateful for the support, guidance, and care shown to us during such a difficult season. The Archway has been a true blessing to us and I highly recommend them
