This week Wisconsin celebrates * 50 YEARS * of client rights laws for people receiving services for a developmental disability, mental health challenge, and/or substance use disorder.
The state has declared August 31 - September 4 as Client Rights Awareness Week throughout Wisconsin in recognition of the importance of treating people receiving services for a developmental disability, mental health challenge, and/or substance use disorder with dignity and respect.
