Tips to help your facial appointment go smoothly 💆‍♀️💆‍♂️

1. Arrive with no makeup. We will, of course, cleanse your face but heavy makeup should be avoided. Don't worry about having clean hair. I'm going to massage your head and mess it all up anyway.

2. Please bring a hair tie or clip for your hair. We provide disposable head bands, but if your hair is long, please tie it up.

3. Please know what medical conditions and medications you're taking. It's important to disclose all this information for your safety.

4. Please avoid the use of active ingredients like glycolic, lactic, mandelic, and salicylic acids as well as retinoids for at least 5 days prior to your appointment. If you have forgotten to do this, it must be disclosed to your esthetician so the treatment can be modified accordingly.

5. Please do not arrive with a sunburn. You can't be treated.

6. You must wait 2 weeks after Botox and 4 weeks after fillers to have a facial. This gives the product the proper time to settle to prevent migration.

As always, arrive on time to fully enjoy the time set aside specifically for you. 😊

How it started vs. How it's going 😍

This client of mine has been seeing me for 5 years. She is one of my OG acne bootcamp clients and has stayed consistent with following her Face Reality home care regimen and coming in for treatments whenever she's home from college. (She's killing it in college and I'm so proud of the amazing young woman she is!)

Consistency is everything! It's the key to maintaining your clear skin long term. Once you're clear you can't just stop using the products that work and expect to maintain results. Getting lax with your routine and lifestyle choices will eventually revert your skin back to a place you don't want to be. Acne is controlled, not cured.

You see here what trusting the process and continously using your custom curated acne routine can achieve. Her skin is clear, glowing, and healthy and she always tells me how grateful she is to me for helping her get the best skin of her life.

I love treating acne. It's my calling and it's so rewarding and dear to my heart. Thank you to all my OG clients for sticking with me and my new acne bootcamp clients that work with me and trust me to help.

I've been wanting to add this feature to my website for a long time and it's finally here!

My acne ingredient checker is now live on my website! You simply copy and paste the full ingredients list (not just the active or key ingredients) or manually type in any ingredient you wish and my acne checker will tell you the product is acne safe! If you click on the alert, it will go more in depth on the ingredient and the likelihood that it will clog pores. This is a game changer for my clients! Check all your make-up at home and before you buy anything new, hair products, and any other skin care products you might be using with a click of a button.
