Healthy ME

Healthy ME Healthy ME is a 5 year HIV, STI, and substance use prevention grant for youth ages 13-24 living in the Malden and Everett area.

Healthy Malden and Everett (Healthy ME) is a community based prevention intervention project. Together, the Institute for Health and Recovery (IHR), Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA), and the Institute for Community Health (ICH) will work collaboratively to prevent substance use and the transmission of HIV, Hepatitis C, and other STI's with youth and young adults between the ages of 13-24 living in

the Malden and Everett communities. We have completed a comprehensive community needs assessment to identify strengths, gaps, and barriers around substance use and sexual health prevention. An outcome of this process identified the evidence based prevention curriculum, Street Smart, as an effective and culturally appropriate intervention.
