Hello Malta… It has been brought to my attention that some laundry has been left in the laundromat’s dryers ALL day…

I am kindly reminding and requesting that laundry is NOT left in the machines unattended. This is inconsiderate for the next person who needs to use the machines. MOI is NOT responsible for stolen or lost items in the laundromat. When items are left unattended… that is a risk you take.

So.. with that being said…. the facility is there for the WHOLE community, not the few who use all 6 dryers at once and all 6 washers at once.

We do appreciate your patronage, understanding and consideration of others.

Hello Malta -
Just a reminder -
While we love the fact our Laundromat provides a vital service for our community. It has been brought to my attention a few issues that have been occurring with frequency - we would like to remind everyone of the guidelines for the facility:

1. Please supervise your items and remove those from the machines when the cycles are finished. If a load is left unsupervised and the cycle is completed, another customer is allowed to remove the load so they are able to finish their laundry as well.

The Laundromat is there for the WHOLE community, not the few who start the loads and then leave for hours and expecting the community to wait for them to return. MOI staff have found loads of laundry when opening in the morning. This has happened multiple times.

2. We are NOT responsible for lost/stolen items. As previously stated, please supervise your property while using the machines.

From the Executive Director:

To the two individuals, one wearing tan sweats and a black hoodie and the other wearing black sweats with a Hard Rock Cafe hoodie and black shoes who decided to “shop” after hours for about 30 minutes at the donation drop off… You even came back for the TV and then decided you wanted the white purse too. We appreciate your taste in the multiple items you took; to include: a five drawer red dresser, 40” (approx) tv/dvd combo with remote, a white purse, three tier metal cart with wheels, clothing, two backpacks, off white laundry basket, large white roaster, salt and pepper holder made out of horseshoes, two folding camping chairs, circular side table to name a few items.

What we do not appreciate is the fact these were stolen from Malta Opportunities and would appreciate any information given to MOI staff of the identity of these two. We can also tell that you are familiar with our facility because you kept the hoods over your faces and your back towards the camera the whole entire time. I do believe at one point you even pointed to the camera and lowered your hood more. And just so you know, your pickup truck is really pretty in the light.
