Pain is rarely as simple as people want it to be.
One muscle. One joint. One disc. One adjustment. One exercise.
The human body doesn’t work that way.
The neuromusculoskeletal system is one of the most complex systems in the body. Your brain, nerves, muscles, joints, fascia, sleep, stress, recovery, training history, and movement patterns all communicate with each other every second of every day.
That’s why finding the true driver of pain isn’t always straightforward.
As healthcare providers, our job isn’t to chase symptoms or pretend we have every answer. Our job is to listen, assess, test, reassess, and keep asking better questions.
And here’s something we believe wholeheartedly…
We’re never too proud to say, “I don’t know.”
Because “I don’t know” isn’t weakness. It’s the beginning of learning.
The second a provider thinks they know everything is the second they stop growing. Curiosity creates better clinicians. Better clinicians create better outcomes.
Medicine evolves. Research evolves. We should too.
Stay humble. Stay curious. Never stop learning.
