April is National Volunteer Month!

National Volunteer Month is also recognized as Global Volunteer Month. The theme this year is a very powerful one: Ignite Volunteerism!

Established in 1974, this annual campaign, recognized by Points of Light, highlights the profound impact volunteers have on communities.

Medical Missionaries, since its inception almost 30 years ago, has existed solely as a volunteer non-profit, a rarity in the world of non-profits. To all the doctors, nurses, construction workers, donors, friends, family and everyone else who have kept MM a strong “Point of Light” in the world, we salute and thank you!

We also take this moment to remember and honor all those who are with us in spirt, especially Dr. Ken Kornetsky, who left us in 2026 with a profound hole in our hearts and organization.

We are ready to celebrate 30 years in 2027 with all of you aboard!

We feel that any of the below sentiments reflect our gratitude for your volunteerism so we are including them all!
