The third episode of The LilyPod is live - thanks to everyone who has listend so far. We have sailed past triple digit downloads!

In this new episode, our friends from LilyPad Clinical Change & Advocacy LLC sit down with Dr. Brittany Bomil, a clinical psychologist specializing in neuropsychological assessment, to demystify what a neuropsychological evaluation actually looks like for children and families.

With a particular focus on autism evaluations, they explore why assessment is about much more than a single test or score. Dr. Bomil discusses the importance of considering the whole child through standardized assessments, caregiver input, behavioral observations, collaboration with other professionals, and play-based observation.

This episode offers an approachable look at neuropsychological assessment and how a thoughtful evaluation can go beyond obtaining a diagnosis to help families and professionals better understand and support the whole child.

Thank you also to Bailey's Team for Autism for supporting this podcast.

On October 5th we’re launching our podcast series for caregivers with New Hampshire based providers across a variety of disciplines! Our focus is mainly on autism, but this should be useful to any caregivers navigating developmental concerns in our state! This is part of a project with crotchedmountainfoundation & Bailey's Team For Autism

We are saddened by the news of the passing of dance prodigy and disability advocate Kitty Lunn. Years ago, Kitty came to Crotched Mountain Rehabilitation Center several times to lead wonderful dance workshops.

She will be deeply missed.

After breaking her back in a fall, she helped start Infinity Dance Theater, and found that her wheelchair was a tool, not a hindrance.

Recently, we held an end-of-summer cookout for our adult services staff and participants at The Meetinghouse in Greenfield.

The weather was great, the food was tasty, and the camaraderie was through the roof!
