✨ The Drone Show is BACK on the calendar! ✨

Originally scheduled for July 2nd and postponed due to weather, Manchester’s Patriotic Drone Show has officially been rescheduled for Thursday, September 10th at Riverfront Park.

🎶 Start the evening with Music on the Maquoketa featuring The Detour Band from 5:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.

Then stick around because the Drone Show begins at 8:30 p.m. immediately following the music. 🇺🇸✨

The City of Manchester offices will be closed on Monday, September 7th in observance of Labor Day. We will resume normal business on Tuesday, September 8th.

🚒 The Iowa Firefighters Convention is coming to Manchester, and there are several events the public is invited to enjoy!

We’d love to see Manchester residents come out, line the streets, and help us welcome firefighters from across the state to our community.

🔥 Friday
The public is invited to watch the firefighter competitions taking place downtown throughout the morning and afternoon.

Food trucks will also be set up near the Community Center and available for the public to enjoy.

🚒 Saturday, September 12
🛍️ Craft Show: 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at the Fairgrounds

🎉 Firefighters Parade: 2:00 p.m.

Parade route:
East Acers → Stiles Street → Main Street → North Brewer Street → New Street

Grab a spot along the route and help us give our visiting firefighters a big Manchester welcome! 👏🚒

🚒 La Convención de Bomberos de Iowa llega a Manchester, y habrá varios eventos abiertos al público.

🎃 A little fall creativity is coming to the Manchester Public Library!

Teens and adults are invited to make their own DIY Book Page Pumpkin on Thursday, September 24th.

Using an old book and basic craft supplies, you’ll create a unique pumpkin to add to your fall décor. All materials are provided, so just bring your creativity!
