🌟 WELLNESS ACHIEVEMENT! 🌟

Please help us celebrate Carmella and her incredible progress! ❤️

Carmella came to Hackett Hill Center needing significant assistance with care and transfers. Through her determination, hard work, and wonderful participation in therapy and her home exercise program, she achieved 14 points more than projected at discharge! 🎉

She returned home needing only supervision for stairs and bathing, far exceeding the goals we initially anticipated for her.

Carmella’s positive attitude, dedication, and willingness to participate in every aspect of her care made such a difference. We are incredibly proud of her accomplishments and so happy to see her heading home! 🏡💪❤️

Yesterday, we finally got to enjoy a BBQ outside! ☀️🍔🌭 After all that rain, the sunshine was definitely worth the wait!

Residents and staff came together for some great food, good laughs, and even better company. It was such a fun afternoon, and everyone had an absolute blast! ❤️

✨ Positive Patient Outcome ✨

When Linda arrived at Hackett Hill Center all the way from Florida, she came to us following a fall-related injury requiring short-term rehabilitation. She was initially non-weight-bearing on her lower extremity and required Physical and Occupational Therapy to improve her mobility, strength, and independence.

After five weeks of hard work, determination, and the support of our dedicated interdisciplinary team, Linda reached a major milestone. Following her orthopedic follow-up appointment, she was advanced to weight-bearing as tolerated, allowing her to safely progress toward independence!

We're proud to celebrate Linda's successful discharge home with a smooth, independent transition. Her dedication throughout her rehabilitation journey was an inspiration, and we wish her continued health and success as she continues to recover.

Congratulations, Linda! We are so proud of everything you've accomplished. 💙👏

🎨 Healing Happens in More Ways Than One 💚

Rehabilitation is about so much more than physical recovery—it's about finding joy, staying connected, and continuing to do the things that make you smile.

During her rehab stay, Summer, one of our wonderful patients, joined our residents for an afternoon of painting and created this beautiful landscape. 🖌️🏞️ Her creativity, positive spirit, and willingness to participate made the activity even more special.

At Hackett Hill Center, we encourage our short-term rehab patients to take part in activities alongside our long-term residents because healing happens best when the mind, body, and spirit are all engaged.
