September feels like a good time to make a little more space.

Which one do you need a little more of right now?

Slowing down can feel uncomfortable when we’ve learned to measure progress by productivity. Maybe rest isn’t falling behind — maybe it’s part of creating a more intentional life.

I’ve got something coming Friday that might help with this.

Before you head into another busy week, take a minute to check in with your energy.

What gave you energy last week? What drained it? And what’s one small thing you could change this week to protect a little more of it?

Simply recognizing what’s filling you up and what’s quietly wearing you down is the first step towards peace.

See what you notice and choose one small thing to do differently this week.

We think change starts with a big decision. A bold move. Finally doing something different.

But I think the first step is much quieter than that.
It’s noticing.

Noticing what drains you. What you keep saying yes to when you want to say no. What you’ve accepted as “just the way life is” that doesn’t actually feel right anymore.

Nothing has to change in that exact moment.
But once you recognize it, you can’t really unsee it.
And that subtle little shift in awareness? It can be the beginning of everything changing.

Maybe nothing was wrong.

Maybe I was just tired, overwhelmed, and caught up in busyness.

Maybe I just needed a moment in the fresh air and sunshine to clear my head and breathe.

Some days, the good things are easy to miss because we’re already thinking about tomorrow.

That’s one of the reasons I created ILLUMINATE — 7 simple prompts to help you reflect on the day, notice what you’re grateful for and proud of, and decide how you want to show up tomorrow.

Just a few minutes before bed. 🌙

Sometimes we carry the emotions, problems, and stress of the people we love because putting it down feels like we’re not caring enough.

But caring and carrying aren’t the same thing.

You can listen. You can support. You can love deeply.
And still recognize what isn’t yours to hold.

You don’t need a perfect plan for the whole week.

Sometimes the pressure to figure everything out is exactly what keeps us overwhelmed.

Come back to today. What matters now? What’s one next step you can actually take?

And if you want a simple way to slow down, reflect and set an intention for tomorrow, I created the Illuminate Journal for exactly that.

Before you fill your week with everything you have to do, take a minute to decide what actually matters.

A Sunday reset can be as simple as setting your priorities, letting something go, and choosing how you want to feel this week.

Save this for tonight. 📘

Clearly my body is holding onto something.
And that’s something I’ve learned to pay attention to.

Things I need to ask myself:
What’s going on with me lately?
What might I be carrying that I haven’t really acknowledged?

Because sometimes your body notices the stress before you do.

If you’re curious how stress might be showing up in your life, I created a free stress assessment to help you recognize your own patterns. Click the link in my bio or DM me “STRESS” and I’ll send it to you.
