We had the experience of a lifetime.

This week we attended the opening of Taryn Simon's "Father Country I Do Love You" at the Guggenheim in New York City, where Kriss's work is featured as part of the exhibit.

Nearly a decade in the making, Taryn's work explores her father's life through the sharing of untold American stories, tracing the real life of an unnamed federal agent.

Kriss was commissioned to bring her historic political and media makeup artistry to the piece through voice and video. Her hands and voice recount making up five iconic political figures at pivotal moments in American history: George W. Bush, Donald Trump, Karl Rove, Tucker Carlson, and Dick Cheney.

Forty years of artistry realized, and still flourishing.

We dedicate this opening night, shared with Mark and Travis, to Kriss's mother, Lynda Rose. In Kriss's words, "The artist in her became the artist in me."

Rock out for a good cause at Free to Rock, a benefit concert for cancer patients and survivors across New Hampshire!

Join us at The Rex in Manchester from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 29th, doors at 6:15 p.m.

You'll find live bands, dancing, a dessert bar, cash bar, live auctions, and a best-dressed rockstar contest with big prizes, all led by MC Marga Bessette of WZID. Performers include No Copay, a band of Elliot Hospital doctors, and Gloss & Gutz, featuring Kriss and Mark of Kriss Cosmetics.

Together we can heal, grow, and thrive! Presented in partnership with the Mary & John Elliot Charitable Foundation and the Solinsky Center for Cancer Care & Beyond at the Elliot, proceeds fund the Free to be Beautiful workshops, led by the artists at Kriss Cosmetics, offering education, guided meditation, and free all-natural full-size products to help anyone on a cancer journey feel like themselves again. Recently featured on NH Chronicle.
