Coach Jana here! I'm planning on posting a series of travel tips over the next several weeks.
Here's TRAVEL TIP #1 of what I learned
GROCERY SHOPPING/PACKING FOOD makes all the difference
Focus on proteins/fruits/veggies/good fats.
-We went to Costco and I thought we did pretty well. Though as I sat in our Airbnb kitchen and looked at our food choices, I of course had some hindsight. I wish we would've supplemented a few things at a natural grocery store, like cereals, snacks, etc. As not everything was clean/organic, and not everything needed to be purchased in bulk. We sacrificed a few things for the sake of only going to one place. I noticed this effected my health and a few others on the trip.
-Another option is Walmart/Target/Grocery store pick up orders, then you can plan exactly what you need, you can skip the lines, and get straight to your vacay.
-Making a menu! Then you have a roadmap to what you need.
-Of course, if packing your own things is an option, a cooler or camper with fridge can really help.
-If doing chips/processed food, opt for healthy oils like avocado, reduced/no added sugar, no food dyes options, etc..
What are some of your favorite travel food hacks?!
