Ease into Summer 🫶🏼
Next Saturday! 2:30-4

Step into summer feeling lighter, calmer, and more grounded 🌳✨

Join Laureen Hermann for Trauma Release Exercise (TRE): A Modality for Healing on Saturday, June 6th from 2:30–4PM.

TRE is a gentle yet powerful practice designed to help the body unwind stress, tension, and stored trauma through natural movement and release. This modality supports the lengthening and relaxation of the psoas muscle while calming the nervous system.

During the workshop, you’ll be guided through simple exercises that lightly fatigue the legs, activating the body’s natural shaking and trembling response. Like waves releasing back into the ocean, this process helps discharge long-held tension and unconscious patterns held in the body from everyday stress and past experiences.

Add a reminder to your schedule, Laureen Hermann , PTA and TRE Certified Trainer, will be hosting a tension/trauma release exercise workshop on Saturday, May 16th at Downtown Yoga!

TRE (Tension or Trauma Release Exercise) is a technique for self-healing and stress-reduction created by researcher and trauma worker, David Berceli, PhD. It works with both the physical body (your muscles and connective tissue) and the nervous system, to complete the stress response, discharge tension, and release pent-up energy from every day stress.

Reported benefits: * decrease anxiety * release chronic tension * discharge of emotions behind emotional harm * increased energy and flexibility * improved sleep and mood * decrease of aches, pains, and symptoms of fibromyalgia. This workshop is suitable for ages 18 and older. *Contraindicated for pregnancy and recent surgeries.
This workshop is $40 per person. ❤

How I’ve been called to this work was through a traumatic event myself~uncovering deeply held patterns from childhood. My purpose is to share that healing is accessible through the body.
Softness is our strength
Guiding bodies through this process is sacred work. I hold space & honor your process of remembering you’re safe.
Remember Who You Are Yoga I love being a part of your coming home🫶🏼
