Overnight oats are one of those breakfasts that sound trendy but are actually worth the hype.

They’re packed with fiber, protein (if you add Greek yogurt), and whole grains that help keep you full all morning. Plus, they take about 5 minutes to make and are waiting for you when you wake up.

My favorite formula:

🥣 Rolled oats
🥣 Greek yogurt
🥣 Milk of choice
🥣 Chia seeds
🥣 Fruit
🥣 A sprinkle of cinnamon

Mix, refrigerate overnight, and breakfast is done.

If you’re always rushing out the door or find yourself starving by 10 a.m., overnight oats are an easy place to start.

Our favorite smoothie lately — and it’s kid approved, which is always the real test.

It’s loaded with fruit, kefir, spinach, chia, flax, and plenty of vitamins. Basically one of those throw-everything-in-the-blender situations that somehow still tastes good.

Ingredients:
• Frozen berries
• Frozen mango
• Frozen cherries
• Bananas
• 1 bottle kefir
• 1/2 bag baby spinach
• Chia seeds
• Flax seeds

Blend until smooth and enjoy!

You’ve already carved the pumpkin or made a pie. Next step? Roast some pumpkin seeds! Your kids will love helping to pull out the seeds and seeing what you’ve made, plus these little guys are high in all sorts of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and fiber.

In this recipe I decided to to go sweet instead of savory. You can also try this recipe without the cinnamon and sugar, and swap in olive oil if you’re craving something more salty.

This is our faaaaaaavorite banana bread recipe. Made with sour cream, a dusting of cinnamon sugar on the bottom, and a hearty dose of chocolate chips (if my daughter is around), this banana bread is the best you’ll have ever tasted.
