I didn't know what I had been learning and time flew so fast, 10 years in just a blink.
What's important to me today is that it's totally different from the last 11 years ago.
Ironically, I was a kid who didn't know s**t, and nowadays I still don't know s**t.
I studied at the other side of the world and saw a bunch of people. Nowadays, in New York, I have seen similar situations with different lenses.
But what's changed?
Mind set may be
At the end of every situation that people are up to, it does matter to them for real, which could be food to feed the family, sickness, houses, etc.
Here's the thing: I do admire those people that fight for just another day; to having a hope; we are looking and might be waiting for the one percent that might change our lives...
Some days, when I was in a bad mood, all I saw was bad vibes. People were serious about the seats and fought over each other for that spot. But someday, I was in a good mood and all I saw was why people are so damn nice. People were willing to give away their seats to others, and sometimes I even had a conversation with strangers and laughed all the way home.
Wise quote I can't remember who said it. Oh! Mel. She said that with the right mindset, you could change the way you react to the situation, but you can't change the situation.
On my end, I will see what I want to see, so I want to see humanity and kindness. naive, right?
But all we need is kindness because I have no idea what s**t's on you and you have no idea what s**t's on me.
Love it or Leave it!
