This little rose in my front yard feels like the perfect reminder that even in the busiest seasons, there should always be time to stop and admire the beauty around us.

The next couple of months are going to be filled with births & babies. I’ll be supporting some incredible mamas as they prepare to meet their little ones. 🤍 It’s a busy season… but such a beautiful one. And I wouldn’t have it any other way!!

I am filled with sadness AND hope for one of our Be Fruitful mamas. Just days after giving birth to her youngest precious baby (her dream home birth 🥰) she was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. Over the months she has bravely undergone tests and procedures, while caring for her husband and 3 young kids, including continuing to breastfeed!! Today she received the news no one wants to hear, the cancer is more aggressive than previously thought and she will need more immediate surgeries and care.

We need to pull through for this mom in our community! I am holding a cash drive for her and her family. You may drop of cash, gift cards, flowers, cards, etc. to me at the birth house or zelle me (my name and phone number) and everything will be given directly to this family! If you know who I am talking about, feel free to reach out to her directly especially if you'd like to take a meal.

Two years ago, this little girl came into the world 🤍 she was my easiest labor by FAR, lasting only 1hr 45mins from the first contraction. She was my easiest baby, and somehow my wild child! She came into the world so peacefully, and then proceeded to keep us on our toes. She is bold, fearless, independent, hilarious, endlessly curious, and has a personality that fills every room she walks into.

Watching her grow has been such a gift. She reminds me that every birth is completely unique, none will ever be the same. Maybe one of the reasons I love birth so much is that you never know who you’re going to meet!

Happy 2nd birthday to my little girl. You are so loved, and I’m so thankful I get to be your mama. 🌿🤍

A perfect little boy made his entrance into the world last night 💙 this birth didn’t unfold in any way mama envisioned. Sometimes, despite every moment of preparation, every book read, every position change, and every prayer, birth does its own thing. What never changed was the love she has for her little boy. That drove every decision and I’m so glad he’s finally in her arms. Congratulations to a precious little family 🤍

Some births don’t go according to the original plan, and sometimes that’s exactly how they’re meant to go!

This mama trusted her intuition and made the brave decision to change birth locations at the last minute (5 days before her induction) in pursuit of the experience she knew was right for her and her baby. Throughout labor, she advocated beautifully for her needs, stayed grounded in her choices, and met each twist and turn with incredible strength. No first time mom imagines her water breaking at just 1cm, but her delivery was a truly empowering and positive birth experience.
