I'm fu***ng dying right now ya'll!

This trip has already been fun! If you've watched our stories then you know by now that I (Jen) had to p*e.

So we stopped... so I could p*e....
Well, Rindy Slater and I both went into the bathroom at the rest stop. Well..... while I was doing my business saw feet from the stall beside me.... I assumed they were Rindy's feet... so I reached my hand under the stall and helped myself to her toilet paper... because why not right?

I finish my business, wash up, and move on with my life feeling very proud of my accomplishment.

Until, I walk out to the car and see Rindy sitting there in the drivers seat.

I rush over to the car.... hop in and scream "Drive, bitch! We gotta go!"

Ya'll I'm f**kibg dying! I stole some old bi***es toilet paper 🧻‼️

🍯 The Honey Witch by Sydney J. Shields + Bee’s Knees 🐝

Sometimes the connection is subtle.

And sometimes the book is literally called The Honey Witch and Copper Kettle gives us a cocktail drizzled in local raw honey!

In The Honey Witch by Sydney J. Shields, Marigold Claude leaves behind the life expected of her to become the next Honey Witch of Innisfree.

Her magic is tied to honey, bees, and the land she is charged with protecting — but becoming the Honey Witch comes with a catch: she is cursed never to find true love.

Which becomes slightly inconvenient when a woman comes along who makes that curse a whole lot harder to ignore.

So naturally, we paired it with one of Copper Kettle Distilling Co. signature customer favorites: the Bee’s Knees.

The glass is drizzled with local raw honey, then filled with gin, lemon juice, and simple syrup for a cocktail that is bright, sweet, and just tart enough to keep things interesting.

Honey is at the heart of Marigold’s magic. It is also at the heart of this drink. Both manage to balance sweetness with just enough bite underneath. 🍯🐝✨

And trust us. This one's STRANGE. 😂

📖 Kafka on the Shore by Haruki Murakami

Imagine a world where cats can talk, fish fall from the sky, and absolutely nothing is quite what it seems.

Welcome to Kafka on the Shore.

This mind-bending novel follows two seemingly unrelated characters: Kafka Tamura, a young runaway trying to escape a dark family prophecy, and Nakata, an elderly man who has lost his ability to read but somehow gained the ability to communicate with cats.

Their stories unfold in a bizarre world where dreams and reality overlap, fate plays by its own rules, and the deeper you get into the story, the more you question what the hell is actually happening.

Yes. You read that correctly-

ZEBRA. P**S. 🦓🤣

We'll give you a moment on that one...

✨ WHY WE CHOSE THIS PAIRING

Because Kafka on the Shore is the literary equivalent of hearing someone say "Zebra P**s" and just accepting that those are apparently words that belong together now.

Murakami gives us talking cats, raining fish, mysterious portals, and a plot keeps you guessing.

Old School Organics gives us a product called Zebra P**s.

Neither one is particularly interested in being normal.

And frankly, neither are we.
We're not entirely convinced that a zebra named P**s wouldn't fit right into this novel.

Sometimes you don't need everything to make sense. Sometimes you just need to appreciate the weirdness. 😂
