This is why I don’t believe in aggressively attacking inflamed acne.

The skin was already inflamed, irritated, reactive, and dealing with PIH.

The focus was calming the skin first instead of creating additional inflammation.

We started by improving barrier function and getting the client on consistent home care first 🌿

Once the skin became healthier and less reactive, we incorporated a 1064 Nd:YAG laser to help support acne reduction and improve post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation over time.
