EHHD Health District The EHHD provides public health serves to 10 member towns in Northeastern CT

We are part of a county-wide collaboration to promote and improve access to healthy foods and opportunities for physical activity for everyone, every day. This collaboration is led by the Eastern Highlands Health District and the North Central District Health Department in partnership with many organizations, agencies, and individuals. Did you know that naloxone (narcan) is placed in or near many public AED boxes in our community? If you think someone is experiencing an opioid overdose, you can save a life! Call 9-1-1, Report an 'unresponsive person' and administer the naloxone if it could be from opioids.
